Event Details

The San Francisco Authors Luncheon is the Bay Area's premier literary event. Each year over 1,000 people attend to support the services for patients and their families served by the National Kidney Foundation of Northern California. Each year six nationally-known authors share their poignant stories, wit and humor while guests enjoy a gourmet luncheon. You will have the opportunity to meet each author personally during the book signing sessions preceding and following the luncheon. The Authors Luncheon supports kidney dialysis and transplant patients and their families served by the Foundation. Programs include pre-dialysis conferences for patients, professional education, and research into finding a cure for kidney disease. Many of these programs directly enhance the lives of children in our communities who are either dialysis or transplant patients or who are at risk for developing kidney disease.
