Armed simply with her dusky vocals and acoustic guitar, Colbie Caillat and her homespun music continue to resonate with listeners and win new fans. Little more than a year after the release of her nearly double platinum debut album CoCo, Caillat has quickly made such an enduring impact that USA Today declared the California girl a vital part of "a new wave of troubadours luring fans of all ages into a peaceful, easy feeling." The national newspaper puts her in the company of other platinum plus artists like Sara Bareilles, Caillat's own musical hero, Jack Johnson, and her good friend and duet partner, Jason Mraz.

Colbie Caillat
Under the swarms of over-produced and under-sung pop hits, Colbie Caillat emerged with her stripped down and catchy single, "Bubbly", in 2007. Since then, she released two top ten albums, won two Grammy's, and released her third album this July, 2011. Colbie Caillat tour dates have been scheduled along heavy hitters such as John Mayer. To promote her new disc, Colbie Caillat tour dates have been scheduled nationally and have her traveling the country. The former YouTube sensation has become a veritable star. Join Colbie Caillat on her tour this 2011; Use Eventful as your source for Colbie Callait tour dates and concert schedule information.
The native southern Californian's roots shine through her perfect melodies and acoustic guitar. Though she was born to super-producer, Ken Caillat, who produced the massively successful Fleetwood Mac albums Rumors and Tusk; Caillat's rise to fame was nothing but homegrown. She started playing the piano as a young girl and was inspired by Lauryn Hill's performance in the movie Sister Act 2, and decided to become a singer. She auditioned for American Idol twice, even performing an original song, the soon-to-be hit single "Bubbly", but was turned down. Luckily for us, Colby stayed organic and she was able to get her career going with the help of new technologies.
Cailat took to her MySpace profile and posted her music online and within months she was the most popular unsigned artist. She was subsequently picked up by Universal Records who released her debut album, Coco, in 2007. it was an instant success, selling two million copies in the US alone and featured her hit single, "Bubbly". Colbie Caillat embarked on the Coco World Tour to promote the disc. Caillat tour dates were also scheduled on John Mayer's wildly successful John Mayer 2008 Summer Tour. Colbie then recorded the Grammy-Award winning hit single duet "Lucky" with Jason Mraz while producing material for her sophomore album.
Colbie returned in 2009 with the #2 single, "Fallin' For You". Her sophomore set - the aptly titled - Breakthrough, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and the accolades flowed. In 2010, Caillat won a Grammy for her work on Taylor Swift's Fearless album, and she was awarded with BMI's Songwriter of the Year Award. Colbie Caillat tour dates were scheduled internationally on the Breakthrough World Tour and she performed at the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. To generate buzz for her third album, Colbie Caillat tour dates have been scheduled at intimate venues throughout the country. Don't miss a date on the Colbie Caillat concert schedule (2011). Caillat is Southern California personified, her vocals as smooth as a cool breeze and her demeanor sunnier than her hometown of Malibu.
