The Fox Theater is located in the Uptown District of Oakland, California. The Fox Theater Oakland originally opened in 1928 but later closed its doors in 1966. However after a massive renovation project, the Fox Theater once again became
open to the public in February of 2009. Since re-opening, the Fox Theater Oakland has become a popular city landmark and entertainment destination.
