Featuring Jon Schabl (Nerdist, toured with Jimmy Pardo) Valarie Vernale (SF Punch Line) Dan Shively (Mutiny Radio) Brought to you by Nicole Calasich, Chad Opitz and Brooke Heinichen ABOUT YOUR PRODUCERS AND COMICS NICOLE CALASICH is a Bolivian-American comedian, producer, and generally a winner. Based in San Francisco, she performs regularly at major clubs and intimate rooms including the SF Punchline, Cobb’s, and Doc’s Lab. Her humor is big words smartcool and her penchant for incisive audience rapport is the dumbest. She performs all over the country and has opened for Dan Cummins, Ali Wong, Adam Newman, and features for Iliza Shlesinger. When her Twitter account is not being featured on Comedy Central, she produces four monthly shows in the Bay Area: Attractive Camp, Brave New Jokes, Jokelandish and Resistance is Futile. These are top-drawer comedy events, sure, but are also humble offerings to the great and powerful Xenu. Nicole is available for bookings until Tom Cruise says otherwise. CHAD OPITZ is a comic whose hilarious and unique perspective is making him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and sometimes even song, Opitz's writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work. Chad was a featured performer at the 2016 & 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest. Chad was the winner of Bay Area legend Jimmy Gunn's "Best Newcomer" award as well as a finalist in the Rooster T. Feathers Competition, semi-finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition, 2nd place finalist at the 2016 Sacramento Comedy Competition and 1st place winner of the Walk the Plank comedy competition. He's opened for Neil Hamburger, Gad Elmaleh, Michelle Wolf, Scott Thompson and many more. BROOKE HEINICHEN is a San Francisco-based up-and-coming stand-up comic who talks too fast and smiles too much. Her feel-good comedy act covers her Ohio upbringing, with a sprinkling of political commentary on both sides of the aisle, tied together with animated, vibrant storytelling that makes light of everything from failed dating experiments to family funerals. She performs nightly at clubs, bars, theaters, and wineries all over the Bay, and produces Bay Area showcases Brave New Jokes, Jokelandish, Thinking Women’s Comedy and ACLU fundraiser shows with Hot Take Comedy. She has performed at the 2016 and 2017 Lady Laughs Festivals (opening for headliner Mary Kennedy) and will perform in 2018 SF Sketchfest, selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up.
